Minto Super Starters

The Minto Super Starters provides group figure skating lessons in dance freestyle, stroking and skills on the same session. The lessons teach figure skating technical skills in footwork, spins and jumps. There are badges and incentives to keep children motivated and rewarded. There are 19 badges at the Primary Test level. Skaters can literally jump around as they learn new skills. For example, they are not required to complete a series of jump badges before moving to spin badges. Skaters can master skills at their own pace, in any order. 

The Minto Super Starters may take part in Test days, usually the Preliminary Dances.

If a Minto Super Starters wishes to move to regular private lessons their club membership fees will have already been paid. The only extra expenses are ice time and the private lesson fees for the coach. The club will credit left over fees to the new level. Movement is possible any time of the year.
