I am 14 years old and in grade 9. Outside of skating I like to go shopping, hang out with my
friends, facebook, watch TV, and go see movies. I also volunteer at our skating club once a week to help
with the CanSkate program
Last year was a big stepping stone for me and my partner, Jeff Hough. In the 2010 season, we
qualified for Challenge Pre-Novice Dance and were sitting in 18th after our compulsories (pattern dance).
We went into the freedance and gave it our all, and pulled up to 6th. In the 2011 season, we qualified for
Challenge Pre-Novice Dance and did very well, finishing 3rd. For doing so well at Challenge, we were
chosen to represent Team Ontario at the Canada Winter Games in Halifax in February 2011. We finished
2nd and we were very pleased.
Our future goals are to go at nationals in Novice Dance and do our very best to win. We had
great success at 2011 Challenge Novice Dance, finishing a close 2nd, which allowed us to qualify for
Nationals in January in Moncton. Now we are home and training very hard so that we can to Nationals
prepared and ready. We hope to go to Nationals and win. We have worked very hard and are continuing
to improve.
